Circle Gathering

We had a wonderful small group gathering on saturday 6th June and a catch up lunch with a hippie burger on the menu!  Did they know we were coming?
The silent walk with "I am Peace Mantra" held in our minds set the scene for a circle of light.     We did some breath work to cleanse the body and in particular open the spine and then I offered some mudras and meditation exercises to cleanse and rejuvenate the Heart, Sacral and Root Chakras.  We started with protection work and a sense of being connected with our divine guardian and then brought in the strength with Vajra Mudra as this is needed for the major organs which have to be energised to give us power to Act.  Joint Mudra for the flexibility of the joints and then lying down in the sunshine and the Little Bear to further loosen all the muscles and joints.      We also chanted and laughed and giggled.      Lovely gathering and we remember all who could not be there physically.
Hopefully this work will be extended into a more detailed workshop for us to practise so that we get the full effect in our Body, Minds and Spirits.
Love and Light to all who still open to the beauty within the ugliness present in the manifested life.

Yogawise winter Newsletter now available to club members

Just managed to get the winter newsletter out before Spring is Sprung!    Let me know if you did not receive it.   I will get back on track with the Spring 2015 to go out by end of May and re-newals of Yogawise Circle membership will be from 1st June 2015 for those who still want to stay in touch and read the offerings.

The winter newsletter is very topical and reflects on Plato's five forms of political structure or government and asks for an awakening of individual spiritual endeavour in the form of regular meditation and self enquiry so that we can grow towards a more enlightened world society based on higher values rather than just self interest.

It starts with each one of us!

Yogawise charity MSF Medecins sans frontieres Doctors without Borders - Please support them!

Here is a message from Ann who we supported with our donation from the winter solstice gathering.  Just to think of her helping mothers who have no one else in the time of new life coming into the world is inspiring.  She is living her Dharma and I hope all reading this will offer some help to MSF in their wonderful work throughout the world in all the zones of conflict and need.  How lucky are we to be able to give from our base of plenty?

Dear Sammi

Christmas is a special time as for many of us it means the exchanging of gifts and celebrations with family and friends.

I find it exceptional that complete strangers remember those of us in MSF who were working in the field during the Christmas period. To be thought of by you and to receive your greetings, has cheered us up no end.

Knowing you appreciate our efforts, to reach so many people to bring care, happiness and a chance for life, has been a source of encouragement to us while we were working over Christmas and New Year. You are supporting a great organisation that we are all proud to be working for.

We hope you had a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year, thank you for all your support and kind thoughts.

Ann

Winter Solstice Gathering

Beautiful silent walk and circle in Bushy Park today with our peacful Yogis.  Many thanks for the donations to MSF which we have sent on today and told you about personally.  Enjoy these twelve days until the 1st January 2015.  Each day will teach you something about what is to unfold during the next year.  Keep each day fresh and filled with awareness so that 2015 will be a new start for us all.
New moon tomorrow offers a chance for new beginnings if we chose to embrace that which is offered to us all.   Contentment with "what is".....gratitude for what we have been given..... and our generosity of spirit to those less fortunate than ourselves.      OM Shanti.  Peace.
